The opening session at B2G will provide an overview of the buildings-to-grid landscape as far as technology, regulatory issues, players and business opportunities. A keynote speaker is followed by a panel of experts to draw the picture of this potentially vibrant landscape for both the building industry as well as the burgeoning Smart Grid market. |

This panel discussion will feature a number of Smart Grid experts and will be moderated by Ken Sinclair, someone who has a unique view of the needs and trends in the building automation industry. The panel will outline specific opportunities that are available now and in the future, opportunities that are open for building systems players to explore. |

Opportunities for Smart Grid Players |
This panel discussion will feature a number of building automation leaders moderated by Jack Mc Gowan. As a Chairman of the GridWise Architecture Council, Jack will help attendees understand the opportunities available for the growing Smart Grid space. Specific subjects include the trend toward green buildings, potential impact of the link between automation and Smart Grid and a discussion on how the building system industry is approaching these issues. |

Action Plan - The Road Ahead for B2G |
To conclude the first event B2G Summit, leaders from both the buildings and Smart Grid industries will discuss specific actions that could be embarked upon to further discussions and explore common opportunities. This session is moderated by Leighton Wolffe, Executive Director of the New Energy Alliance. |
